Tony Blair: world safer without Saddam Hussein

"I think he was a monster. I believe he threatened not just the region, but the world," Blair said. "If I'm asked if I believe we are safer, more secure, that Iraq is better, that our own security is better with Saddam and his two sons out of power . . . then I believe indeed we are."

Tony Bliar is the monster and almost two million dead Iraqis and four million displaced Iraqis would most likely disagree that their world is safer.

Blair was stating the obvious. Sadman is no more missed than Hitler,Stalin,or Mao. Sure, there're a few skinheads and Saddamites running around. Even the devil has admirers.

Too many brown people still think it is ok to kill brown people and even think it's very.very cool. Just look how many brown people worship Sadman Insane.

I didn’t realize this war was between the whites and the browns. Thank you Anon for your color aware analysis. Your sophisticated understanding of this war is noteworthy. Was Saddam, the leader of the “Browns”? If so, why did the “browns” murder and oppress their own people (fellow “browns)”?

Anonymous said...

I know you prefer to talk about something called Sunni and Shia but I still want to know why white christians go invade other brown countries and kill a million people and think people will not be upset. Do you think it is ok for you to kill brown Arabs and Muslims?

Maury said...

I think it's okay to help someone whatever their skin tone. We didn't do skin tests before intervening in the slaughter of Muslims in the Balkans. You think we should have let Saddam slaughter as many millions as he liked....because their skin was a little darker than ours? You have GOT to be from Europe. That's so British colonial thinking.

Maury said...

By your reasoning,we shouldn't be helping in Haiti, because brown people dying in in their own countries is none of our business.

Kosta said...

Hey there dark skinned folks....

Let me tell you, that we of the melanin impaired people, especially the Anglo-Centric nations....

are apparently willing to march into another nation, led by the great Harlot of "Manifest Destiny" (USA)and force them to do our bidding; but won't bat an eyelid to object when a little white brat behaves in an un-civilised manner under our very feet.
We won't even involve ourselves in the household affairs of our brother or sister, because "it's none of our business", but when the money is on the table... it's strictly business. ... Don't take it personally.

Maury is a Christian, but doesn't understand "the curse of Ham".
Noah had 3 sons, Shem, Ham, Jasapheth (sp?). Ham Saw his father naked and drunk, Ham laughed and ridiculed him to his brothers.
Well it just so happens that Ham is the father of the black nations, and it just so happens that Noah cursed Ham and all his offspring to be slaves and servants to the other 2 brothers.

Perhaps this is why some 'Christians' don't respect Blacks, even though they don't understand the biblical propaganda,.. and you guys,,, the sons and daughters of Shem, are a little bit too black for them too.

That's why Maury thinks white folk like himself know what's best for you, in spite of protests.
He'll tell you when it's his business.

I don't know, I'm just sayin'.
Just thinking aloud.

Maury said...

Been cruising white supremicist sites,eh phony? They're the only groups I'm aware of that spout that Ham crap. Maybe it would be better if you kept those sick thoughts to yourself.

Kosta said...

Well I don't know maury... what is it then?....
why did your nation(USA) and mine(Aus) send troops into other lands when we have priests fucking kids on our own land and don't send troops to get those 'organisations'......

I don't know... help us out, why did we go into Iraq again??

If we had any humanity within us, we in the axis of 'the willing' nations should prostrate ourselves with humility before the Arabs for what we have done to them, but instead ass holes like you have nothing but blame for them.

Where does our contempt and arrogance come from.. pray tell..
I'm dying to know.

"I did not realize you do not distinguish between miltary invasions and humanitarian help. "

The only way to provide humanitarian help to the Iraqis was by invading and deposing Saddam. Sanctions were tried and failed - indeed, Saddam made sure they caused even more suffering to his citizens.

The threat he made to neighboring countries was a further reason.

You can criticize the bad planning and sloppy execution of the aftermath all you want, but removing Saddam from power was entirely a good thing.

I've read enough; now read this ...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

US Ambassador Glaspie: (To Saddam) We have no opinion on your Arab-Arab conflicts, such as your dispute with Kuwait. Secretary [of State James] Baker has directed me to emphasize the instruction, first given to Iraq in the 1960s, that the Kuwait issue is not associated with America.

Saddam smiled.
On 2 August, 1990, four days later, Saddam's massed troops invaded and occupied Kuwait.

Kosta said...

Oh yea... Blackwater;
I read your previous 'thesis' on them; which read like an appology with the line...

Have you heard the phrase "Imperialist Pigs"; and I'm not talking about Blackwater.

Iraqi Mojo said...

Yes, America allegedly tricked Saddam into invading Kuwait in 1990, and America & allies responded by bombing the shit out of Iraq, killing thousands of innocent Iraqis.

The US also imposed cruel sanctions that resulted in malnutrition, especially among Iraqi children.

Did the Arabs give a shit? Did the "Ummah" send their "mujahideen" to kill American "infidels" and those who work for them? Nope. Instead many Arabs like Habis moved to America.

The "Ummah" unleashed their suicide bombers only after Saddam, the mass murderer of Iraqis, was chased down and put on trial. That is when the Arabs and leftists of the world complained and encouraged "resistance".

Baghdad in 2000: "A woman known as Um Haydar was beheaded reportedly without charge or trial at the end of December 2000. She was 25 years' old and married with three children. Her husband was sought by the security authorities reportedly because of his involvement in Islamist armed activities against the state. He managed to flee the country. Men belonging to Feda'iyye Saddam came to the house in al-Karrada district and found his wife, children and his mother. Um Haydar was taken to the street and two men held her by the arms and a third pulled her head from behind and beheaded her in front of the residents. The beheading was also witnessed by members of the Ba'ath Party in the area. The security men took the body and the head in a plastic bag, and took away the children and the mother-in-law. The body of Um Haydar was later buried in al-Najaf. The fate of the children and the mother-in-law remains unknown."

Australia killed people too.

Australia participated in the invasion of Iraq in 1991.

And of course Australia participated in the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Phony, it is sad to watch a pathetic man like you, who is so lost and sole-less that he supports the oppression and murder of the Iraqi people. I know it was hard to be a foreigner in Australia; perhaps this is why you married a lady of “Anglo-Saxon stock”. But your ridicules claims and sense of ego isn’t going to change who you really are. It is not our fault, that you never found success, I suspect it is because of your sour attitude. Still, in a democracy there are places for talentless phonies, like you, who attach themselves to ridicules conspiracy theories, to compensate for their inability to build a meaningful life.

But why were there any malnourished children? Saddam was allowed to export oil in exchange for food. Why did he not do this?

Why do supporters of mass murder and genocide in Iraq attack everyone who is opposed to US war crimes? Arabs are "jihadis", whatever that is. Australians are attacked. Muslims are attacked. Greeks are attacked. Australians are attacked. White folks in Europe who protest the war are attacked. Everyone who does not support foreign military invasion and murder must have something wrong with him. Only Bush, the neo-cons, and the Iraqi traitors have it all figured out. The rest of the world is evil.

Ok I think I understand now.

Why do you want to be like the Hashemite and Saudi puppets? You love the arabjarab. You admire the arabjarab. You are jealous of the arabjarab. You want Iraq to be just like them. A US puppet colony.

Stand up straight stupid, put your pants back on, and go learn Arabic you dumb Californian.

Habis, you have obviously been a slave your whole life. All you know is tyranny and oppression. Your mind is conditioned to it. Men, like you, have no idea what freedom is. You use words like “imperialism” as if it means something, but it is clear that you have never even looked the word up in the dictionary. You are a complete fool. I don’t know if you were ever educated, but it was bad. Where were you educated? Nothing you say is logical; you use words that you don’t even know their meaning. Maybe it is just your English, but I would learn how to speak the language before you attempt to debate people in it. You have no idea how stupid you sound. It is laughable.

...report sent to the UN General Assembly by Dr Nawal Majeed Al-Sammarai, Iraq’s Minister of Women’s Affairs since 2006, stated that in September 2009, Fallujah General Hospital had 170 babies born, 24% of which died within their first week of life. Worse yet, fully 75% of the babies born that month were deformed. This compares to August 2002, six months before the US invasion, when 530 live births were reported with only six dying in the first week, and only one deformity.....

'Why is it so?', you may ask
We either..
1./... Blame the Iraqis for changing the type of parsley they have been using to make their tabooli salad.
2./.. Blame the Iraqis for burning their oil wells.
3./... Blame the imperialist nations for intentionally creating the conditions by which Iraqis can be deprived of a long, prosperous, and self determining future.
4./... Blame the Axis of Willing Invading Nations for being such dumb and incompetent fucks that they didn't foresee the harm that would be caused by uranium munitions.

Any other possibilities??

Well; I'm giving The Axis of Willing the benefit of doubt and dismissing option '4'.... so I'm going with option '3'.

The article about DU in the CSM was very informative and far removed from the hysterical ranting of 'Phoneyid' above. Iraqi Mojo said...

'Do you think the USA "tricked " Saddam into grabbing Kuwait ? '

I don't think "tricked" is the appropriate term. I think April Glaspie was being honest when she said that as ambassador to Baghdad she did exactly what her boss, James Baker, told her to do. When I watched the video (as part of Hidden Wars of Desert Storm) of her announcing that the US has no position on the border disagreement between Iraq and Kuwait, I got the sense that she didn't really believe what she was saying. But in transcripts of Glaspie's meetings with Tariq Aziz, Glaspie tells him that the US hopes the conflict between Iraq and Kuwait will be resolved peacefully.

I don't know what exactly the Bush admin was hoping for in sending ambiguous signals to Saddam. Maybe it was obvious that the US would protect Kuwait, since the US had already been defending Kuwaiti ships, putting American flags on them! It should have been quite obvious to Saddam, who must have seen what the 1973 oil embargo did to America, that the US would not allow one Arab nation to have control over so much oil. Or maybe Saddam really believed that he could defeat the US, or that Arabs would come to Iraq in the hundreds of thousands to defend him.

Germany's economy and industry under Hitler were the envy of the world, which is why all those American companies were tripping over each other to do business there.

dear Mojo, I can't see any of the American "diplo-speak" to Saddam about Kuwait as "mixed signals" that would encourage Saddam to believe he could grab Kuwait without a US response. It was Saddam's own delusion that he could grab Kuwait, hunker down, and claim his 19th provence...rather like India's takeover of Goa,et al.
