One of the things I do like about As'ad Abu Khalil is his writing about Saddam and the Baathists. He has often correctly portrayed Saddam as a murderous dictator who led Iraq to war and ruin. That's unusual for a non-Iraqi Arab.
I like this one: "Saddam's former ambassador (the Lebanese Ba`thist, Jihad Karam) insults all Latina women in his lousy book about his experiences in the Ba`th Party. I need to write something on the Ba`th Party: its own contribution has been new torture techniques used on Arab prisoners in both Syria and Iraq. Oh, and they also excelled in the art of car bombings which they had copied from Zionist terrorist methods."
I agree that one should not insult Latina women and I agree that the Ba3thi thugs introduced new torture techniques to Iraq. But they copied car bombings from Zionists? Really?

Quote from the Wikipedia article on Lehi:
"On 12 January 1947, Lehi members drove a truckload of explosives into a British police station in Haifa killing four and injuring 140."
But I don't think these were the first terrorists to use a vehicle full of explosives.
The Zionist terror movement was short lived, but is a dark blot on the history of Israel.
The disastrous incompetence of the British Mandate didn't help.
