Where's the justice in Pakistan?

Martin Bashir urges the US to use its leverage and demand justice in Pakistan. He repeated the claim, which I read first in the NYT, that Shahbaz Bhatti was the only Christian in the Pakistani parliament.

"Of the three brave Pakistani politicians who stood up for Aasia Bibi, an embattled Christian woman flung on to death row last year, just one is still alive: Sherry Rehman."

Though the Church rightly will investigate this case before formally declaring him a sainted martyr, popular acclamation is likely to preempt the formal canonisation process. Considering the circumstances there seems little reason to doubt that he was killed specifically due to hatred of his Catholic faith, so inclined to think he’s in a better position to pray for us than we for him.
