The benefits of oil embargoes
Tonight I learned from Thomas Friedman that Denmark launched its clean tech industry after the 1973 Arab oil embargo. As a result, today Denmark has the highest energy efficiency in Europe and it is a major exporter of clean tech products.
TF is the right guy. He makes a lot of sense. Revenue neutral tax swap is the way to go. But he is right about sub optimal solutions, something is very wrong with their system. They can hardly get anything done right these days.
