AT&T gives money to Tea Party

I just learned from this website that AT&T has given $377,500 to members of the House Tea Party Caucus. That's disgusting. I would not be as outraged if I were not a customer of AT&T. I give money to AT&T and AT&T gives money to Michelle Bachman. OMG! WTF?!

Unfortunately I'm stuck with AT&T wireless for another year. As soon as the contract expires, I'll be switching to another company, maybe to CREDO mobile. I discovered CREDO by reading this article: "After Giffords shooting, Credo Mobile issues petition against Sarah Palin's gun crosshairs".

Those big corporations give big to both sides. Nobody gives more than AT&T.

"Between 1989 and 2010, AT&T gave more than $45 million in campaign donations to both Republican and Democrat candidates. In the 2009-2010 cycle, its biggest contribution was $30,000 to the campaign of Nevada Senator Harry Reid, but three Republican congressmen -- Joe Wilson of South Carolina, Pete Olson of Texas and Roy Blunt of Missouri -- were among its top five. While impressive, however, these contributions were dwarfed by AT&T's lobbying expenses, which topped $25 million in 2006 alone."

WOW. Maybe that's one of the reasons AT&T wireless service is so expensive, and how big companies corrupt all politicians, including Democrats.

The Dems need to find a different leader in the Senate. Harry Reid is mostly tame and sometimes lame.

Does complaining about Palin's irrelevent gun crosshairs (that literally had absolutely nothing to do with this shooting) make Credo any better than AT&T? Maybe phone companies should focus on providing better services, not promoting politics.

They also killed 18 Israeli soldiers in Lebanon, 87 Argentinean Jews, and 29 Israeli embassy workers in the 80's and 90's

Oh yeah, what could the Tea Baggers possibly have to do with violence? They are a peaceful crowd and shun guns. Reload and take out that traitor. Also Dr. Tiller

Hariri you mean, not Harari.
The opinion is that that blowing that size of crater is impossible without support from a state. So they think it could be Syria or Israel

Bachmann is actually a very beautiful woman. Wow.
I'm amazed that men can bring themselves to bash her ← not very gentlemanly imo

Credo is better than AT&T because Credo doesn't give money to the Tea Party. I don't want to give my money to a company that gives money to the Tea Party.

I learned about Palin's crosshairs map after the Tucson shooting. Probably Jared Loughner had never seen the map. Still the map shows just how stupid Palin and her gun-loving teabaggers can be. The map is a symbol of their gun culture. Palin will not retreat - she will RELOAD.

I wish I could get out of my contract with AT&T.

Hariri was killed by a car bomb, not a suicide bomber.

I still think the service provided by phone companies is all that matters. I have T-Mobile, and I don't care what their politics are...I am switching to Verizon because t-mobile's coverage sucks.

"Beirut blast was suicide attack"

I am not sure if the international investigation and the Lebanese police have since retracted this.

The article I read said suicide car bomber. But, there were no witnesses, and apparently no physical evidence was put forth to back up the claim. Either way, the killing backfired on Asswad. All it did was solidify opposition.

It's very rare these days for Shia to volunteer as suicide bombers, especially after Sistani explicitly said that suicide is forbidden. If it was a suicide bomber, it was probably an Al Qaeda type - they are more easily convinced that killing "infidels" in a suicide mission would be rewarded in Heaven.

The Syrians or Hizbollah probably used a car bomb, detonated by a cell phone. The Baathists were good at car bombs. They didn't need a suicide bomber.

"Four men are still in the grim prison at Roumieh, north of Beirut, on suspicion of involvement in the crime; they are – or were – senior officers in the Lebanese security apparatus whose first loyalty was to Damascus rather than Beirut. In the aftermath of the assassination, everyone from the then-president of France, Jacques Chirac, to the leader of the Lebanese Druze community Walid Jumblatt saw the hand of Syria. Who else could plan such a massive explosion in one of the most supposedly secure parts of the Lebanese capital? Hadn't the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad expressed his contempt for Hariri? And weren't the string of assassination victims that followed Hariri's death all opposed to Syria? Sister Syria was the butler in the Lebanese manor house, and it was the butler what did it."

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that you can switch carriers now. Credo has something where they pay you to leave AT&T, it's called a buyout credit or something so that you can get out of your existing contract. The details are here: http://www.credomobile.com/disclaimer/Standard.html
Thought this information might help you as I too switched recently after being disgusted by the practices of AT&T and Verizon.

The map used by Palin was FIRST used by the democrats years ago. 1988 was the year I think. Liberal Bob Beckel created the target map.
