Considerable distrust of Muslim Americans

"A New York Times poll of New York City residents that found that even this city, the country’s most diverse and cosmopolitan, is not immune to suspicion and to a sadly wary misunderstanding of Muslim-Americans.

The poll found considerable distrust of Muslim-Americans and robust disapproval of the mosque proposal. Asked whether they thought Muslim-Americans were “more sympathetic to terrorists” than other citizens, 33 percent said yes, a discouraging figure, roughly consistent with polls taken since Sept. 11, 2001. Thirty-one percent said they didn’t know any Muslims; 39 percent said they knew Muslims but not as close friends.

A full 72 percent agreed that people had every right to build a “house of worship” near the site. But only 62 percent acknowledged that right when “house of worship” was changed to “mosque and Islamic community center.” Sixty-seven percent thought the mosque planners should find “a less controversial location.” While only 21 percent of respondents confessed to having “negative feelings” toward Muslims because of the attack on the World Trade Center, 59 percent said they knew people who did."

Of course they do idiot. They love it. They even plan it. And everytime they do it they enjoy insulting their dead victims memory by apologizing and saying they were going after terrorists. They even have a name for it. Collateral damage.

American pigs also think the dead civilians families should get over it as soon as they express "regret" But notice if an Arab kills civilians. Oh my! All of a sudden they are overcome with righteous outrage at such barbarity.

Has there even been a more barbaric country or culture than America?

Bruno has sunk to new lows. He's using youtube comments to prove how evil amreeka is. Someone should tell Bruno that even South Africans can use youtube. Or, that ButtBuddy14 could be someone's grandmother. The poor guy still believes if something's on the internet....it must be true.

The answer would be NO.

Voodoomau5 is from the United Kingdom, as is Jesus07juice.

miggshawn and buttbuddy14 are Canadians and kstsfy is from Niger.

Yes they do. Absolutely. They are the essence of what it means to be an American.

Bin Laden served as a middleman between the Taliban and Arab drug smugglers for the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, using commissions to fund his training camps. The sheiks flew in on private jets and military transport planes, touching down at the Kandahar airfield and other smaller airstrips, supposedly to hunt rare falcons. Those flights transported weapons and material to the Taliban and al Qaeda and flew heroin out. It was widely known these hunting teams brought lavish amounts of equipment including vehicles, rifles, and tents, which they left with the Taliban.

Bin Laden hijacked the state-run Ariana Airlines, turning it into a narco-terror charter service ferrying Islamic militants, weapons, cash, and heroin to the Emirates and Pakistan. Mounting concern led to the UN sanctioning the Taliban in late 2000, barring Ariana from flying internationally. The Taliban turned to Viktor Bout, the notorious Russian spy-turned-smuggler whose Sharjah-based air cargo empire served as a sort of FedEx to criminals, rebel groups, and banana republics. Between 1998 and 2001, Bout sold Taliban twelve air freighters and continued to fly weapons, spare aircraft parts, and other supplies into Afghanistan. Flights with narcotics went direct from Helmand to the UAE.

Dolly's "outrage" over the crazy people on the message boards is pathetic...its like listening to a child rapist condemn a wife-beater.

Habis,

Yes, the Pashtun National Resistance continues to strike the Amreeki at their very heart. Why, just a few days ago one of their bravest warriors blew himself up at an "Al-Quds" rally in Quetta and slaughtered about 70 people (more than have been killed in the entire Israeli-Palestinian conflict this year). And today, they managed to set over 500 pounds of explosives inside of a colony housing the children of Pakistani policemen.

That's some heroic resisting you guys are doing, Habis.

So!

I see that the little bitches that infest this blog have come out squealing the moment I post actual proof of Americans wanting to blast away at Iraqis. I have to note: the original question was not "are Americans want to kill Iraqis representative of all Americans?" but "who in America wants to bomb Iraqis?".

The distinction is important, because clearly there are Americans that want to kill Iraqis - any Iraqis - starting with the fine 'soldiers' that represented themselves on these videos. I guess throwing grenades at shepherds doesn't count? I suppose repeatedly expressing the desire to shoot little Iraqi kids throwing stones (little Iraqi kids who have more guts than an entire platoon of Amreeki dumbfuck soldiers, btw) doesn't count either?

The commenters on those videos are just the tip of the iceberg.

But it has to be noted that they are NOT representative of America as a whole.

There is a steady ~ 30% of Americans who don't have their heads up their asses, who don't assume they have the power of life and death over Iraqis, who were opposed against this war since the start.

THEY know what it means to be human.

They, unfortunately, are not represented on this blog.

A dozen boneheads posting on youtube don't represent America anymore than you represent South Africa Bruno. Besides, as Memnon pointed out, most of those people you quoted weren't Americans anyway.

Now, obviously, these are Americans who have sub-human intelligence. I'm pretty sure most Americans are more intelligent than this (although, that's not been proven yet).

But what is scary is that on the same comment page as the above moron, there was this comment, by somebody who obviously has more than two braincells to rub together:

"Speaking as a citizen of the US, who has all the nukes anyway, I think this is a perfectly valid question, and the reasons given by responders here NOT to use nuclear weapons fail to hold much merit in my humble opinion.
[...]
6. "The human suffering would be catastrophic." Unfortunately, this is true. The horrors of death by nuclear attack are well-documented. Many thousands of people would die immediately, but approximately 80% of the total deaths would be in the days and months following the attacks. To unleash this terror on a civilian population would be unethical, no matter the context. Not even in response to a direct attack should we ever use nuclear weapons against innocent civilian populations. HOWEVER, I defy any person to identify a single purely civilian population in Iraq or Iran (North Korea, maybe). In every instance, our "enemy" is inextricably intertwined with the "innocents" around them. The local populations are complicit in, and in many cases encourage and actively contribute to the activities of those who would kill or maim us. From a military standpoint, there are no civilians in these countries. The entire human population can be lumped into two categories: 'active enemy combatants', and 'enemy combatants-in-waiting'. Especially as the populations are subject to the constant brainwashing and anti-Western rhetoric of their leaders, they are increasingly likely to resist US authority."

Bruno, there are 350 MILLION Americans. The vast majority will never post a comment ANYWHERE on the web. The only thing these commenters represent is people with too much time on their hands. Besides, you can't possibly know these people are adults, or even American, for that matter. Stop pretending to be so damned gullible. We know you aren't that that stupid.

Then again, maybe you believe Dolly is a white female Muslim. Are you that gullible Bruno?

Bruno said...

[maury] "Besides, you can't possibly know these people are adults, or even American, for that matter. "

You mean, the American soldiers shooting at Iraqi motorists and throwing grenades at Iraqi herders and expressing a great desire to shoot Iraqi children ... are an Al Qaeda psyops creation?

WOW! Al Sahab has really stepped up its game, huh?

As for the commenters - of course they're American, possibly with one or two exceptions. We all know they are. The same way when my wife told me to look at the TV on 11 Sep, because somebody had crashed jets into the Towers - I told her straight off that its Al Qaeda in action. Don't have to be a genius.

9/11 scared people, people, not christians. Just people. American muslims were terrified people would hurt them, and americans were so dammned scared that they were willing to hurt every muslim they saw to keep their families safe.

In a way, the terrorist won that day. Not with that explosion or the death count, but with the suffocating growing fear that they instilled in all of us. People need to stop associating Islam with terrorist radicals. Those actions of the insane should not reflect the rest of a group. I grew up as a muslim, my family went defacto when my mother got divorced. I am now an agnostic. I volunteer at different shelters and charities whenever possible. I see the ugliest sides of people and the fallout from that ugliness. I can vouch that most of the muslims that I've known have been purely good people. I've certainly never met with any of them that wanted any American dead. Perhaps yes, the people who kill their families and scratch those tragedies off as an accident, but never for an innocent.

9/11 was a tragedy for everyone in America. I know several muslims who lost family in the incident. Cousins and brothers lost under the rubble. Do you honestly think that there were no muslims to suffer for the actions of those psychos? Violence against anyone who looks even remotely of color has gone up. Even people from places like india, or isreal have been getting more stress, simply because they resemble middle easterners.

Yes, generally any muslim you meet will tell you that they are a muslim first and an American second, but ask a Christian, or a Jew and they will generally say the same. It's the importance of faith over state. Will any Christian on here really admit that they hold their state over their faith in Jesus Christ?

Tomorrow should be about unity and acceptance. We should be able to band together as a people instead of throwing potshots at our own.

Azha, can you give one example of American citizens harassing Muslims? I remember a story when the media was trying to demonstrate how racist Americans were by staging a Muslim woman dropping some groceries on the floor to see if people would help her pick them up. After about twenty people, who all stopped to help the lady, they finally found a person who just walked by…they then had their story.
Just because you enjoy feeling like a victim, your feelings do not justify the ignorant, vial and murderous acts of radical Islam.
