Spell it like it sounds in Arabic

I'm getting so tired of hearing journalists pronounce it 'Najoff'. I would like to see people start spelling it Kérbéla and Néjéf, so that American journalists stop sounding so silly:) What do you think, my Iraqi brothers and sisters?
