Explosion kills 53 Shia in Basra

"The explosion hit a tent where pilgrims were being fed around 8:30 a.m., killing at least 53 people, including several police officers at a nearby checkpoint, and wounding more than 130 others, local officials said."

PS: CNN says it was a suicide bomber: "A suicide bomber disguised as a policeman targeted Shiite pilgrims Saturday outside the southern Iraqi city of Basra, killing at least 53 people and wounding 137, the Interior Ministry said."

Who is behind this? Iraq's lovely brotherly Sunni Arab neighbors, Assad and maybe Khamenei. They love mass murdering Iraqis.

Iraq should boost the Iraqi Training Command budgets ASAP. And invite in 6 thousand or so American trainers, giving them diplomatic visas. Invite many thousands of Indian, Chinese, Turk, Russian, French, Serbian, South Korean and other trainers as well.

Aim to achieve as much self sufficiency as possible in combat enablers over the medium term.

Accelerate weapons procurment as well. Developing the capability to retaliate against the neighbors will help persuade them to behave like human beings.

Notice how anan did not question whether the Israeli mossad or America was behind this. I wonder why? Its like the case of who killed hariri, point the finger at anyone BUT avoid the OBVIOUS suspects

"The American invasion was comparable to the Mongol invasion, and Iraqis are still reeling from the aftermath."

The death toll in Saturday's bombing is roughly equivalent to an average day of murders in Venezuela.

It is obvious the Anonymous Arabs are living in a bubble. This is not surprising.

Anonymous, Israel interferes in Arab countries too. Including Palestine.

Every country interferes in and influences every other countries. Because of our interdependent world whatever we do affects everyone else, whether we would like it or not. We are unaware about the vast majority of the ways we affect others.

Anonymous, do you support Israel?

Anon,

Where in this thread did I say anything about Israel? Why are you so desperate to change the topic?
