The recent BBC/ABC poll reveals some interesting statistics and shows that there are significant differences in opinion and perspective between Iraqi Shia Arabs and Sunni Arabs. The two groups seem to agree on issues related to the economy and security, but they differ on the Iraqi government and the US. The poll also shows that the Iraqi Shia are split on how they feel about the Iraqi government and US troops. Below are the parts of the poll that show these differences. I'm glad the pollsters looked at the differences between the two groups, because I think it's important. No Arab media outlet would have dared to look at the differences in opinion and perspective between Shi'i and Sunni.
