Ahmedinejad says Arab protesters inspired by Iran

LOL

"In a speech Friday during a large state-sponsored rally to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Iran's Islamic revolution, Ahmadinejad said that the uprisings in the Arab world have been inspired by his country's struggle against Western powers."

Yeah, he said that while opposition leaders were being arrested for a planned march in Tehran. The peckerhead has no shame.

If the Iranian government is so convinced of this, why did they jam the broadcasts of BBC and other foreign media showing coverage of the celebrations in Egypt?

I noticed that the Obama administration has changed its policy regarding "democracy promotion." Now they are openly taunting the Iranian government. Three different members of the administration within two days criticized Iran during discussions/speeches supposedly about Egypt.

Wonder if this kind of taunting has any impact on events in Iran.
