Yes Republicans know how to stimulate the defense industry. GW Bush's admin created many jobs in the military and Homeland Security.
GW Bush expanded the govt, yet Republicans complain about big govt only when a Democrat is in the White House.
Private sector jobs grew more than govt jobs in the Bush admin.Though its true Bush did not curb runaway spending but it is nowhere close to Obamas record.
I seem to recollect quite a few Republicans complaining about entitlement programs such as No Child Left Behind,Prescription Drug plan and colossal waste in Iraqi and Afghan nation building and military expenditure.
And BTW if Republicans had "stimulated" the defense industry under Bush, Iraq would still be under Saddams rule,so I dont know what you are complaining about.
