Iraq would be hurt if Iran closes Hormuz

"Iraq will lose the capacity to export 1.7 million barrels of crude a day if Iran blocks the Strait of Hormuz, the transit point for about two thirds of its production, an Oil Ministry spokesman said."

We entered the Strait and so far they're just shadowing. I think we are quite serious about not allowing the Strait to be closed. The Iranians would only be shooting themselves(needlessly) in the foot if they tried to make good on that.
