Video of a conversation between Iraqis and US soldiers. I got this from Michael Yon's latest post, which RuhsLancia posted a link to on HI. I am amazed that an American can speak Arabic so well AND understand the Iraqi dialect. In the beginning of the video they explain that Iraqis from the southern provinces could not become officers in Saddam's military. They talk about the tribes that used to support Saddam, and how they are now fighting Al Qaeda, because they found that, among other things, ICE and ICE WATER are not allowed by Al Qaeda in Iraq. I did not know this! It makes me wonder if these these rules are enforced in the countries where these protectors of Islam come from. Do Saudis use ice?
