As in Baghdad, please stop hurting. I just saw this video by Kadhum al Saher, and I found it to be moving, especially the images. I must admit that I heard al Saher for the first time in my life earlier this year. I barely remember the Iraqi music I listened to when I was a kid. I remember my parents always liked Fuad Salim. In March 2003, I was searching for something about Iraq and I found a web site dedicated to Iraq - on that site I found a couple of clips from very old songs, including Fairuz's 'Baghdad and the Poets'. Such beautiful songs those are, and this is a good one too.
